Avery's eye appointment went well today. She began to cry this time upon entering the parking lot at Batson, but calmed down once we were in the waiting area for a bit. We even ran into our pediatrician, Dr. V, while we were waiting. She was checking on some of her patients at Batson- such a good doc! Avery then fussed on and off, but mostly just when she was being examined. She got her eye drops, and then we waited on them to dilate for around 20 minutes or so. She didn't seem to mind- just played in the outer waiting area, and tried to get into the vending machine, lol. Her doctor said everything still looks normal, and we will check them again next summer! TS girls tend to have sight issues, and sometimes eyes that cross, so we will check them annually unless she begins to have problems. After checking out her eyes, we stopped by X-ray to get a picture of her hand for her endocrinologist. She walked around the waiting room acting silly- I wondered if she could see anything?! They got it on the first try, and we were able to leave by 9:00 A.M.!! Not so bad for an appointment day, ya think? Looks like we are "off" from appointments until her 2 year check-up on July 1st, and her cardiology appointment on July 13th. God is so good to this little girl ♥!!
