Fall 2016

Here is a rundown of our fall in no particular order!

Bryce's class had an election at school. He said he voted for the girl (Hillary) because she'd let him come to the big white house! This was part of the conversation we had that night:
"I voted for the girl. Because why. Because I want to. (The TV mentions Trump) He said Donald Trump! That's what Mrs. Kim and the kids talked about. That's strange. Donald Trump won the big white house and the lady did too. Rubama can't go to the big white house any more because he's not president any more. He's gonna be sad because he's not got a home. Check the weather.

The boy is a trip! Recently, he also looked at me and said, "Mommy, I don't know what is wrong with Daddy today. He's kinda got an attitude."

The last baby bump...

Bryce and Mommy for the afternoon...we went to the outlet mall to play, eat a cookie, and look around Toys R Us. Earlier that morning, Bryce said, "But I don't want you to go to work, Mommy, because I am gonna miss you." Be still my heart. The boy knows how to work his momma!

Big Sister and Big Brother Shirts....

Avery and Mommy had pedicures to get our toes pink and get ready for baby sister...
Avery loved the Ariel chair and giggled because it tickled!

The kids at school made me pink cards and we had pink cupcakes. Sweet Abigale drew a beautiful rainbow for my rainbow baby, Milly.

Sanderson Farms PGA Tournament....
Avery and Bryce passed out guides for Batson and had a blast.

Halloween...
We went over to the Newmans to eat and trick or treat!

Boosterthon Glow Fun Run at PLE...

Avery's and Bryce's First SEC Football Game...

The amazing Rebelthon crew invited us to attend the Ole Miss vs Georgia Southern game! We had so much fun tailgating with them and our friends, the Meads and the Pucketts! Bryce's favorite part was "the girls"! Avery had a blast at the game as she cheered and danced along with the band too. I love all of the experiences she gets to have. She just lights up with excitement! Her new bestie, Courtney, even came with us to the game and stayed the whole time. She had to work that afternoon afterwards, and I thought to myself- what a kind-hearted young woman. This was my last "hoorah" before giving birth, and we had a great final weekend as a family of 4! On a sad note, we hated that Chad Kelly got a season-ending injury during that game.

We lit a candle on Infant Loss Awareness Day to remember our sweet baby in Heaven...

Avery has been popping up on social media lately....

Avery got hearing aids recently. She chose dark pink backs with a hot pink and white swirl mold! She was very excited, and I was shocked because she is so funny about her ears. She only lets me put earrings in and doesn't like anyone or anything touching them since the otoplasty she had in the spring. They have been a huge help to her hearing issues, and the adjustment has gone well. She has truly amazed me with the way she's conquered this challenge along with her gluten free diet! I would've had a much harder time with it myself. Dr. McNichol is so sweet, so we don't mind adding her to the list of Avery's physicians!

First Grade School Pictures...

Happy 50th Day of School! It's 50's Day at PLE...

Bryce got another hair cut with Daddy, but he refuses to spike his hair at all! He threw a fit one morning when Daddy fixed it, and he would NOT go into his class until Daddy flattened it out for him. Funny boy!

We got to celebrate our buddy, Luke's, 4th birthday! The kids were so excited about the firemen and policeman stopping by! How much does Avery change in a year? She hopped into the truck and the police car and posed for pictures after sitting with our sweet secretary, Mrs. Debbie, last year when they  visited PLE!

Luke started calling Avery "That Rascal" and loved playing tag and chase with her! He is so funny and adorable, and Avery loved every minute of the attention.

We went to the Pearl Police Trunk or Treat again this year, and Hulk and our Ole Miss Cheerleader had lots of fun! Hulk didn't want to wear his mask because it was bugging him.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Birthday to Cocoa who turned one (or 7 rather) in October!

Red Ribbon Week at PLE....

Wear RED Day

Neon Day

Camo Day

Spirit Day

Career Day (and she still says she wants to be a chef!)

My sleeping baby boy...where does time go? I can't believe he will be the BIG brother soon!

A "SPRINKLE" for Miss Milly Jean...

Mrs. Hopson made some yummy cupcakes, and my sweet pod along with the staff at PLE made me feel very special!

Mrs. Young took some of the cutest pictures of this crew!
Brayden, Emmalyn, Avery and Carter

Avery and I had a girl's day to get some last minute things before little sister arrives. She loves the gluten free pizza at Pie5!

On Parent-Teacher Conference Day, we went for our late lunch and headed back to school. Unfortunately, right before we got to PLE, I was rear-ended and the guy took off! It didn't do too much damage to the car, and the police caught him (actually before they even got to the scene. A nice lady chased the guy down and called 911 as he ran two stop lights! I was okay, but it upset me for sure. I ended up at Woman's Hospital in L&D for a bit to be monitored just to be safe.

Avery loves to sing! She got chosen as a First Grade Singer this year, and she is thrilled about it! This is her doing the morning announcements to begin school one day. Can't you feel the enthusiasm just from looking at her??

I love them so much! They insist on falling asleep in my bed.

Farm Day at PLE...

Bryce's Pumpkin Patch Field Trip....Grammy went with him!

PINK OUT...

Mitchell Farms....

We visited Mitchell Farms to continue the tradition this year. It never disappoints! I love getting to do things like this as a family. The kids favorite part is the bouncy pillow. Bryce wanted a Hulk pumpkin, and he even painted it green (he hates to color and paint right now). Avery went from an Ole Miss pumpkin to wanting a red Hulk that looked more girly....it ended up looking a bit freaky to me (ha!).

This was Avery actually getting fitted for her hearing aids...

Library visit to PLE....

Avery was (of course) deathly afraid of the character they brought along with them! Here she is before he came out!

PLE Lunch Date....

"Hotty Toddy" to church with GG...

PHS Cheer-Dance Camp 2016...

Avery has so much fun with the cheer and dance teams at PHS! She loved learning the routine and cheers once again this year. Her buddy, Dakota, was her helper too. She is so good with Avery and Avery adores her teenage friend.

Bryce Appleseed...

I am so impressed with all Bryce is learning in his 3 year old class with Mrs. Kim. He loves to act like he doesn't know anything, but he is really bright and hysterically verbal. He keeps us on our toes and is loaded with personality!

Pearl Homecoming Parade 2016...PLE's Roaring 20's

Avery had so much fun at the parade again this year! She said Mrs. McInnis "better not have that pirate head on" and she didn't! One day, she will get over her fear of characters in costume!

Bryce caught tons of candy!

PHS Hoco 2016- PLE Night...

Avery was so excited, but she ended up having an anxiety attack about the Pirate. He wasn't even wearing his costume yet, but all she needed to see was the head he was carrying! Thankfully, she sucked it up and performed anyway after I basically pushed her out there! I am so thankful for her sweet teacher and assistant and our principal who was CARRYING her at one point! Geez, she is so rotten.

Dental Check-Ups...still no cavities and ALL smiles

Milly Jean...

This baby girl has grown and will be here very soon. Two weeks out she was measuring 7 lbs 11 ozs, and everything continues to look great! This pregnancy has been a bit tougher than before, but I also have two active kids and a Kindergarten class to keep up with! I have done pretty well, but evening soreness and my feet and legs swelling have really bugged me. I am so excited to see her sweet face, and Avery and Bryce are getting more and more ready to see their baby sister!

Lunch with AA...

Bryce...

He had to predict what color he would make before he combined two colors.  He guessed blue, which was a great prediction, but it was bright green- his favorite!
