SNOW Day!

Avery and Bryce have both been sick, but I couldn't deny them 15 minutes of snow! We went out briefly, and I took pictures (of course). Avery loved it, but she was ready to go in because it was "so cole." Bryce didn't know what to think of it, but he sure looked cute!

Happy 1st Birthday Little Mister!

Pinch me now! It can't be true!
My Bryce turned one out of the blue!
While I don't know where the past year went,
I do know that he's heaven sent.
His big, sweet smile lights up my day
He's touched my heart in a special way.
He's babbling, crawling, standing, and such.
Every day is something new, and he's doing so much!
He loves his sister whose hair is his favorite toy.
Let's be honest though- he's a total Momma's boy!
He fills our days with so much joy and fun.
Happy Birthday Bryce-Man- you're #1!

Bryce is all dressed up in Daddy's old baseball jerseys from Mississippi College and Pearl High School.

Bryce is so close to walking, but he has the cutest crawl ever. He has eight teeth, and we think he is already cutting his pesky molars. He is eating table food now, and while he takes a sippy cup only at school, he still gets his ba-ba at home! He loves Goldfish and almond milk. Every now and then, he gets a taste of chocolate, and like his sister, it's his fave. Our poor little man keeps ear infections, and it looks like he'll be getting tubes sooner than later. Whatever it takes to get him better...we will go for it! The poor thing got shots in all 4 limbs along with getting blood drawn at his check-up, and then he had to get a shot for the next two days to get rid of his ear infections. :( He weighs 23 pounds and is 30 inches long. He is a bit anemic, so he will stay on iron for now. Bryce seems to be hitting all of his milestones. He does well playing with other kids, and everyone at school and church loves him! His favorite things to do at home are play in the dishwasher and get into any sort of cabinet he can!

Twas the night before Bryce's first birthday...

If you really mustache, our little mister is ONE!

Bryce's actual birthday fell on a Thursday, so we had work and school. We planned his party for the following Saturday, but you can't deny a kid a cupcake on his big day! Icing on the Cake makes some yummy ones! Bryce was probably on sugar overload that day because I took cookies and balloons for his class, so he could celebrate with his friends. You only turn 1 once, you know!

Avery and Mommy decorated the house for Bryce's birthday week. Big sister made some art work to go in the frames and even helped Mommy with cupcakes. We had a small "Moo-moo-scrash"(Mustache Little Mister) Party as Avery would say! It was fun spending time with the grands and watching Bryce tear into gifts and eat cake and ice cream. Bryce got a toy barn play set from Grammy and Papaw M., some clothes and a new minky monkey blanket and pillow from GG and Papaw, and a Woody doll, some clothes, and his first official Boston Red Sox cap from Mommy, Daddy, and A-A. He had a great day! It turned out that he and Avery both ran fever later that afternoon, but it passed without turning into anything too bad.

Bryce definitely has his mommy's heart! I hope he always feels as happy, healthy and loved as he does now. Happy Birthday Bryce Allen Bell! Here's to many, many, many, many more to come!
