SEVEN!
Seven years have come and gone, and you still take our breath away.
You exude pure joy with a contagious laugh, and you surprise us each and every day.
Your bright smile is like sunshine shining down after a long and dreary rain.
You've never once lost that fire and bounce even through all the pain.
You're hard-headed, sassy, and hard to handle every now and again.
I feel certain that God did that for a reason, so that your battles you would win.
I pray all the time that you stay just as happy as you are today.
I hope that you will always let God use you in His very own special way.
Happy 7th Birthday, Avery Elizabeth Bell!

Avery's 7th Birthday...
Memorial Day
We celebrated Avery's birthday with Grammy and Papaw on Memorial Day. Grammy made lots of gluten free foods and desserts for her to try, and Avery and Bryce played in the hot tub with Kali. Grammy, Papaw and Kali gave Avery some new Toms with hearts all over them and a new canteen that she could color and decorate. Aunt DD gave her some gym shorts and a new swim suit. This was "pretend birthday" number one even though Avery had said we weren't celebrating until June 1st, lol.

We met up with Sophie and Sydney Mead and Caroline Puckett at Party Safari for some play time. Avery enjoyed her "pretend birthday" so much that I don't think she's missing the big party this year. All she ever really wants is to play and blow out candles as people sing "Happy Birthday"- that makes her feel special. Avery, Caroline, and Sydney have all been through so much in such a short time and young age. They are so tough! It melts my heart to see them all together running around and playing. It also helps me more than I can put into words that I have their moms to talk to!
Bryce said that this was "awesome" and his favorite part of the day.
Avery said her favorite part was driving! Oh my, thank goodness she is turning 7 and not 17 because she needs some work! #crazydrivewhodoesntpayattention
Caroline's mommy said she told her MiMi all about playing games, so I am guessing that is what she enjoyed most.
There aren't many sweeter faces than this! Sydney is so precious.
We headed to lunch at CiCi's after the kids played. Avery wanted "rainbow stuff", so I made some colorful little treat bags and some M&M cupcakes.
You can tell by the look on her face how much she enjoys being sung to. Regardless of what she said about the games being her favorite, I believe this was the best moment for her.

The kids even brought Avery some great gifts! She was so excited!

She's officially 7! Avery requested chocolate chip muffins for breakfast, so I am using up what is left (and gluten filled) in the cabinets!
Daddy was out of town all week, but he made it back just in time to celebrate Avery's day with us.
As always, we went to Chick-fil-a! We go to Crossway with the owners of the Vicksburg location, and sweet Mrs. Bridget brought Avery her very own name tag, a hat, and her own CFA cow! Avery was so excited! She said she wanted to be a chef at CFA when she grows up, and she dressed as one for Career Day at school. What a sweet treat on her birthday!
We spent time at GiGi's, and Avery got her bike she'd been wanting. Then, the kids played around in the sprinkler with their water guns.
