Avery couldn't eat her Thanksgiving lunch at school due to her gluten allergy, so she asked GeGe to pick her up and take her to McCalister's for lunch. Mrs. McInnis took some pictures of her for Mommy before she left. Avery wanted a Pink Ranger Turkey Disguise this year, and she was so proud of it! She also chose "Red Flame" as her Indian name at school. I'd say that suits her perfectly!
Bryce had his own Thanksgiving lunch at school. He said the girls wore white hats and the boys wore black hats. He also had an Indian name "Brave Wolf" and told me all about the first Thanksgiving. He couldn't remember "Squanto," but he knew that he helped the Pilgrims! My boy is in the beginning stages of writing his name and can re-tell a story very well. He's a smarty-pants!
As a reward, Avery got to play her favorite game at school!
She also got to pie her teachers, and she was relentless!
Milly had her two week check up with Dr. Van Norman, and all is well. She is already back to her birth weight.
Milly's First Thanksgiving...
Milly's first week at home, Bryce had to stay home a day for a yucky cough that kept him up all night. Next, Avery got sick with the stomach virus and was home for 2 days. The following week, Avery ran fever again, then Bryce and Jake both had the stomach virus! Needless to say, we stayed home on Thanksgiving!
We did make it to GeGe's to have Thanksgiving lunch on Saturday!
Milly also got to take her first real bath that weekend! She looks so relaxed in the warm water.
Uncle Mitch, Aunt Becca, Cooper and Josie came to visit, so we went to G's house to hang out with them. They loved meeting Milly!
G wanted a pic with the grands; however, Cooper and Bryce don't like taking pictures and Josie was scared of the tree. It made for some big laughs!
