Oh! This boy...he has completely stolen his Mommy's heart. There are so many moments when he could possibly get away with murder, and it is very hard not to give in to his dimples and big baby blues. He is funny, terribly smart and observant, inquisitive, and he surprises me all the time with the funny things he says. He's good at school, and he keeps the ladies at Hinds smiling and laughing. Bryce is just full of personality, and he is a hot mess at all times around me!
My favorite words he says right now are the following:
"Dat's ree-dic-you-lus!"
"It's boo-ti-full, Mommy!"
"No wayyy!"
"Dat's diss-custing!"
"Where's my tractor (or garbage truck or fire truck)?"
"Look at that X-kuh-vay-ter!"
"Why they doin' that?"
"Gulley" (girl)
"Daddy finger, Daddy Finger, where ah you? Here I am , Here I am, How do you do?"
"Down came the rain and washed da spider out!"
"Down by da station...."
and my personal favorite....
"Give me a BIG HUG, Mommy! A BIG one!"
Bryce is ALL BOY! He's just a perfect part of our little family, and I am so glad that I've gotten the gift of having a little boy. He's starting to ask questions about baseball while at games, and he loves when his Daddy shows him how to hit the ball. I don't know what he'll end up being into, but whatever it is, it is sure to be fun to watch! We love him SO much, and I am SO thankful for his health, his happiness, and his smarts.
Happy 3rd Birthday, Bryce-Man!
January 16, 2016
Due to Jake's schedule, we had to have Bryce's actual party a week late; however, it worked out well because Bryce's buddy, Edison, had his party that day. They were born a day apart! Bryce had a blast getting a balloon surprise that morning, getting a balloon and a sucker from Kroger, playing with friends at Edison's Paw Patrol party, and having a mini birthday party with Grammy, Papaw, Kali and us that night. Grammy made his chocolate cake. Papaw M. made Bryce a bed out of some bats Jake has been collecting for several years. It turned out amazing! It is a special gift I know he'll always treasure. Now, if we could just get him to sleep in his bed with his new Paw Patrol sheets from GiGi! He also got a John Deere hat from Grammy and Papaw, a few little toys from us, and a tablet like his sister's. Unfortunately, Bryce ended up pretty sick (as usual this time of year) the day after his actual birthday, so he missed some school and had a doctor's visit. Thankfully, it wasn't the flu OR strep. We handled the croup with meds and breathing treatments.

Bryce's Mini Party at Home
My man loves tractors and wanted a tractor party. We decided to have it at the Children's Museum just like Avery had hers at age 3. He was so excited to play with his friends and have his own party! I had a Mommy fail...the cupcakes fell over in the back of my car! Thankfully, no one seemed to really notice! The kids had a great time!

In other news...
We've conquered the potty, well except for #2, but that will come! He will go occasionally on the potty for that, but he tends to hide and have issues! He does know when he needs to go and hasn't worn Pull-Ups for over a month now!
