Happy Mother's Day! "Happy" is the word! I love being a mommy, and being Avery's mom is just the icing on the cake.This is my post from Facebook on Mother's Day...
This little girl taught me so much before she even graced us with her presence. She's instilled in me a strength I never knew existed and an ability to never give up on the good Lord. She's opened my eyes to see true beauty in this world. The sweetest sound I've ever heard is her adorable laugh, and when she says, "Mommy, luz you" my heart melts. Thank you Lord for allowing me to be a mother, but more importantly, for choosing me to be Avery's mommy.

In April, Avery and I FINALLY were able to meet Miss Alexa! She is beautiful and terribly sweet! Nicole and I have been close friends since the fourth grade. We also went to college together. It is so surreal to sit together with our own little girls!
GG found a "sa-see" (horsie) at a consignment store, and Avery has really enjoyed playing with it. She and Cooper have also had fun fussing over it! GG and Papaw's house is becoming quite the place to play!
